Off camera flash is an essential tool for photographers who shoot people outdoors! It allows photographers to create stunning images when the available light is not ideal, control lighting of the background and subject, and add more drama to their images!
In this workshop we'll get hands on shooting outdoors with off camera flash! Learn how to blend natural light and flash to handle different lighting conditions, and give your outdoor images that extra pop!
We'll have a beautifully styled, experienced model to work with, so everyone gets hands on practice, and shoots some amazing shots!
Learn in a small group of photographers in a fun, collaborative environment!

Meet Our Model, Lola!
Lola is a model, dancer and cosplayer based out of Seattle. She's been modeling since she was 9 years old, and will be helping us get hand-on practice with off-camera flash at the workshop!

Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for photographers who are familiar with using natural light, and want to learn how to use off-camera flash outdoors.
What are the prerequisite things to know?
You should know how to operate your camera in manual mode, ie set ISO, aperture, shutter speed, white balance etc manually. You should also know how to operate the trigger you are bringing.
What will I need to bring to the workshop?
Bring your DSLR or mirrorless camera, and your favorite lens. (A 24-70mm will do fine). You will also need a Godox or Flashpoint trigger for your camera model. (If you don't have one, try and borrow or rent one, Borrowlenses.com and Lensrentals.com should have them.) I will provide the lights, lightstand, modifiers etc.
This is outdoors, what if it rains?
We'll keep an eye on the weather forecast, and reschedule if required.
